I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Ambrose University. I completed my graduate degree in Counseling from Western Illinois University.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Iowa, a Nationally Certified Counselor recognized by the Naitonal Board of Certified Counselors, and honored as a Diplomate by the American Psychotyherapy Association.
Additionally I am certified as a Critical Incident Stress Debriefer, and as a Level II provider of EMDR.
My professional passions include Marriage and Family issues, Anger Management Training, and the treatment of Trauma.
I am married to the same wonderful woman for 40 years, have 4 married children and 13 grandchildren - all of whom I am extremely proud.
I am a struggling Christian who embraces people of all faith or no faith. My Christianity guides my behavior and does not judge yours.
I have recently published an E Book that offeres a novel and effective treatment for all forms of addiction. The book is available for purchase on this website.
