Rachel is a fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Iowa and completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Western Illinois University- Quad Cities, with her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa. Her therapeutic lens includes a combination of cognitive behavioral and Adlerian therapy, along with warmth and humor, to address mental and emotional stressors that may interfere with your day-to-day functioning.
Rachel is available to work with teens, adults, and children ages 5 and older. Her areas of focus include helping clients develop awareness and improve coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, substance abuse, postpartum symptoms, historical trauma with any related self-harm, relational stressors, and eating disorders (treatment on outpatient basis only). She is passionate about the development of the therapeutic relationship as the primary modality of change.
